Boulez In Birmingham 2: The Warehouse Ensemble Edwin Roxbrough Conductor

The second of two concerts from ‘Boulez in Birmingham’, a celebration with Pierre Boulez, given by Birmingham Conservatoire and the Park Lane Group. This evening concert includes one of Boulez’s most influential works, Le marteau sans maître alongside his Sur Incises, preceded by the shorter solo piano work Incises, on which it is based. As part of this event, Pierre Boulez will receive an Honorary Doctorate
from Birmingham City University/Birmingham Conservatoire.
