Birmingham is at the hub of a comprehensive motorway network that connects to every corner of the country via the M5, M6, M40 and M42. Follow signs to Birmingham City Centre then follow the brown tourist signs to the Convention Centre and NIA. (Town Hall and Symphony Hall themselves are not featured on road signage.)

Taxis

Town Hall
There are taxi ranks in Colmore Row and at the bottom of Hill Street. Taxis travel along Pinfold Street but there is no taxi rank there.

Symphony Hall
There is a taxi rank across the road outside the Hyatt Regency Hotel.

To book a black cab in advance call TOA Birmingham on 0121 427 8888. For more information visit TOA Taxis

We are grateful to TOA Taxis for their support. Watch out for the TOA Town Hall taxis!

By Rail

Birmingham New Street and Snow Hill stations are within easy walking distance of Town Hall and Symphony Hall. Moor Street and Five Ways are slightly further away but still within walking distance. (NB Birmingham International serving Birmingham International Airport and The NEC, is approximately 10 miles away.)
