Veolia Water Solutions & Technologies have been announced as the first Gold Corporate Friend of Town Hall & Symphony Hall, Birmingham. The world leader in water services, with offices in Birmingham and Stoke on Trent, will sponsor a Symphony Hall concert by the legendary conductor Sir Simon Rattle, and will take advantage of client hospitality and brand recognition at the two premier concert halls. The Corporate Friends scheme also gives the company the opportunity to demonstrate its commitment to corporate social responsibility.

Michael Froom, Business Development Director, Veolia Water Solutions & Technologies, said:
“We are delighted to be involved with such a leading arts charity, supporting Town Hall and Symphony Hall’s artistic and educational programme. This innovative scheme means we can build our brand and host exclusive hospitality events in world-class surroundings, and creates a perfect complement to our support of water-related charities, such as Water Aid. We are particularly looking forward to entertaining our clients at our first sponsored concert conducted by Sir Simon Rattle. The scheme not only allows us to experience great performances at Town Hall and Symphony Hall, but also provides us with the opportunity to fulfil our commitment to corporate social responsibility at a local level. We would urge our colleagues in the Birmingham business community to join us in supporting Town Hall and Symphony Hall.”

Andrew Jowett, Director, Town Hall and Symphony Hall said:
“The Corporate Friends scheme is a great way for companies who have not previously been involved in arts sponsorship to discover the many benefits through a very cost effective scheme, and we are delighted that Veolia Water Solutions & Technologies are the first to take up the challenge.”
